The portable studio features 18 high-end Apogee and Roland recording interfaces, capturing audio at some of the highest levels in the industry. A warmer, richer sound is also achieved by running choice channels through tube pre-amps.
Once the digital conversion is complete the sound is recorded on a computer by a Digital Audio Workstation, or DAW. Here the sound can be further processed and enhanced through effects by Waves, one of the highest rated sound effect companies in digital recording. With the DAW multiple tracks can be recorded, processed, and synced together to create anything from simple vocal and guitar to a full band sound. Quality condenser microphones are also used in the recording process to capture the richest and most realistic sound possible. Acoustic sound treatment panels are employed both in-house, and are also portable to enhance recording quality wherever we record.
